My World

Here are a few items that I would not be able to live without, some items that make up, My World!

From left to right, my Jack Wills Alice band. You will probably see me wearing this most days at school and on the weekend! It has a base colour of blue with a small flower and polka dot pattern. With any outfit that I am wearing, this Alice band will brighten it up and add a bit of colour.

Champagne or Pink Bubbly Vaseline is a new limited edition Vaseline flavour. It's cute packaging and limited addition flavour was hard for me to resist. The Vaseline smells and tastes good and gives that perfect lip shine without lip gloss or lipstick. I recommend either this flavour or the new limited edition Crème Brûlée flavour as a must have!

My T Scrabble ring was a gift from my two friends Ali and Katie and it is one if my favourite rings. It's quirky design always catches people's attention when I'm out and about. Who would have thought that a board game could be turned into jewellery! I am a big fan of unusual and handmade jewellery and will hopefully be blogging about some of these items soon!

This Union Jack bracelet is just a small representation for my obsession of Union Jacks! Everything from my stationary to my pillows have the union flag or a red white and blue colour! Rather than going for the traditional Jesus bracelet I decided to break the trend and wear a Union Jack one instead. I bought this from Claire's Accessories where they had a larger range consisting of cat, dog and other Jesus bracelets.

Models Own is a top quality nail varnish brand that I like to indulge in, once in a while! This colour 'Aqua Violet Beetle Juice' is a deep blue and purple colour with silver mixed in. It can be applied in 3 coats for a shimmering nail varnish or it can be painted over a white coat to give a pearl effect. This nail varnish has lasted me a long time so far and will go with all my outfits.

TEA! The British classic is something I drink everyday without fail. In the morning to keep me warm or in the evening with a few biscuits, there is always a perfect time to drink tea. Also, whilst growing up some people have given me the nickname Tee or Tea which is how I came up with the name of this blog! Personally I don't like any fancy teas, I just stick to a good old PG Tips or Earl Grey. I have tried Green Tea and quite frankly don't know how people can drink that stuff...

The next one you might not have heard of, Nandos. This is my favourite restaurant, where they serve grilled chicken(to your acquired spiciness) and chips. I have been eating Nandos since the age of about 3 or 4 and love their restaurant tasting, fast food making food. In the picture you can see the Nandos loyalty card, here you can collect stamps every time you visit and gain free chickens to eat! There is a Nandos restaurant in most towns and shopping centres.

Lastly, and my absolute favourite thing is MADE IN CHELSEA. This is a constructed reality series about 20 or so mid 20s that live in Chelsea. We are currently on series 4 and have grown to love each and every character. Although I do not class them as celebrities I was still privileged to meet the cast and chat to them. They are all lovely people who are sometimes edited on the show to look bad. In the picture you can see my Made in Chelsea box set which I have signed by the whole cast! I enjoy watching the DVD at any time! For more information about Made in Chelsea, click here and for Made in Chelsea related tweets, follow my twitter!

I love a Snog

I'm writing this post whilst sitting in a Snog yogurt bar. You've probably seen these small yogurt and topping bars in most shopping centres and they sometimes have their own shops. Click here to find your nearest Snog.

The concept of these stalls is a frozen yogurt base(which comes in many flavours) and a range of toppings that go on top. My favourite frozen yogurt stall is 'Snog' purely because of the name!! But there are other stalls called 'Yog' and 'Pinkberry'

The base flavours are normally, Natural, Pomegranate, Chocolate and possibly Passion fruit and Green Tea. At most Snog stalls you can have a free taster of the frozen yogurt flavours. I tried the green tea which was very refreshing but too summery for my liking. I prefer a natural frozen yogurt with seasonal toppings.

Some good winter combinations are granola and a fruit of your choice or if you have a sweet tooth try, brownies and a fruit. If you're having a Snog in the summer you could have summery fruits such as passion fruit and raspberries. You could pair this with chocolate buttons or mixed nuts.

Whatever your mood or craving, Snog has a flavour combination for you. What are your favourite flavours? Let me know in the comments box.

Fancy

A little while back my friend showed me an app called Fancy. If you asked me the purpose, I probably couldn't come up with a reasonable answer but it is a lot of fun!

You make a 'Fancy' account and then you can start fancying all the pictures from a desired topic. From cake to cars you just search any picture and 'Fancy' it. Once you fancy a picture, it will come up on your profile and all your followers can see this. You can follow accounts as well as gain followers but I just enjoy surfing the app for unique pictures. I could spending hours looking up pictures of amazing salt and pepper shakers or looking at a 3D mobile phone!

The app is available on most smart phones including Apple and Android.

As well as fancying pictures, you can also buy items too. Have you ever wanted a lock for your Ben and Jerry's tub? Or  doogles (goggles for you dog?)

I struggle to find my top pictures of Fancy but here are my top 3 (please bear in mind that these will change everyday!!)

3. Fish Eye Lens for iPhone
I just love this alternative to a case for the iPhone. You can attach the lens to your phone and you have a fish eye affect on your photos.

2.Canon Lens Mug
This is made out of an almost real Canon Lens. All the buttons work and the size of the lens is exactly the same as a real lens. It just shows that you can make almost anything out of everything!

1. The Burger Cake
This picture speaks for itself. Although its not the most amazing cake ever, I think it's unique. Making a BBQ classic out of cake is just the best! I warn you though, do not surf on Fancy if you are hungry, you'll regret it!!

Pendleton Somerby

I'm sure that you all watched the Olympics over the summer and were delighted with all of the medals won for Team GB. Someone who still sticks out as a key Olympic figure is Victoria Pendleton. Apart from all the medals won she has been a great ambassador for women's sport. Shortly after the Olympics finished she launch the first ever ladies bike range in partnership with Halfords. There are 3 bikes which are aimed at the female market ensuring comfort, fashion and function.

It was rather convenient that my old bike was too small for me and I now needed a new one. I am a big fan of vintage, London and Chelsea and my dream bike would be a vintage old shopper or road bike. I went bike shopping with my dad and found the bike for me!

The Pendleton Somerby in baby blue was the perfect bike. The frame was 17" and consisted of thin road bike tyres. The colours are a match made in heaven; baby blue and cream! It had tan coloured leather handle bars and seat as well as a perfect place for the shoppers basket. All I need now was a toy dog to sit in the basket! Halfords offer a free service and build when you chose your bike, which means you can chose accessories to add to your bike and they will install them for free! However I am now surprised that they build it for free as the price is quite extortionate considering it is just a road bike (£300!) This bike is the perfect fashion bike and goes with most outfits but unfortunately if you are a more serious rider you might opt for a mountain bike.

This is exactly what my mum chose. She knew that she would be using her bike in different terrains and gradients. The Pendleton range also consists of the Brooke and Dalby. These come in a deep purple colour and would suit anyone.

The bikes offer an easy ride consisting of comfort and style. I definitely felt a million dollars when riding my bike and I recommend every woman to buy one!

Simply Be You

My love for jewellery is just the same as every other girl and a bit more. I seem to own every style of ring and each variety of bracelet. My collection is forever growing but sometimes I wish I could see all different personalities of jewellery in one room.

I visited a jewellery exhibition for a new company called Simply Be You. This business thrives off the different personalities of each buyer and services their needs. From vintage to bold statement pieces, each client was taken care of.

I had a look around at all of the collections and found that the 'Delight' and 'Vintage' collection suited me the best. However for a smart sophisticated evening piece there was the 'Noir' or 'Bold' collection. If you are a bling person then you might go for the 'Sparkle', 'Signature' or 'Krystal' pieces. What I am emphasising is that Simply Be You is a jewellery boutique that encourages each clients personality, style and occasion.

I bought a bundle of elastic bracelets and charms which could be worn separate or as a compilation. Another piece I bought was a black stone ring which was adjustable. This was a perfect day ring that could be worn with a casual outfit but it could also be worn in the evenings with a LBD, Little Black Dress as an elegant combination.

I went along to this exhibition with my mum, who also treated herself to some bits! She went for the more statement pieces from the 'Krystal' and 'Premium' range which reflected her personality. She purchased a wrist cuff with a semi precious stone. With a cuff you wouldn't need to wear anymore bracelets or even any other jewellery as this was such a statement piece.

Below are some of the more memorable pieces I saw at the exhibition.

There isn't a website yet for Simply Be You (SBY)  but below are contact details if you are interested. I'm sure Krupa, the founder behind this unique concept would love to hear from you.
